How Does Solar Energy Work? The Crack Investigation Team Here At AYNIS Is On The Case

What Is Solar Energy?

How Does Solar Energy Work? THE HIDDEN SECRETS REVEALED! EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK! NEVER LOSE ANOTHER NIGHT'S SLEEP TRYING TO WORK OUT THE ANSWER TO THIS BAFFLING QUESTION!.....

We could go on, but we think you get the idea by now - at least, we hope so! So, are you ready? Very well then, we shall begin.

BUT, FIRST...we should point out that there's a difference between solar ENERGY and solar POWER, the former being the energy from the sun, the latter being the product of converting the sun's energy into electricity. The two terms are often used synonymously, but are, in fact, quite different, as we hope you'll see.

Bring Me Sunshine
Let's face it, solar energy is not a new concept, since the sun has been around, as far as we know, since the Earth was formed, and probably a lot longer than that, and many of the lifeforms here on earth derive their energy from the sun, more specifically from the light from the sun.

Just look at your common, everyday garden plant, which, through a process called photosynthesis, converts the sun's light into chemical energy. And how many millions of years has that been going on? You see - nothing new!

What Is Solar Energy?
Well, the short answer is the light and heat provided by the sun. A longer answer would be that solar energy travels about 93 million miles to the Earth, but, before it finally arrives here, it has to do battle with atmospheres, pollutants, dust, etc., and, once it finally gets here, half of it is absorbed by the land and water, with the other half being reflected back into space.

From Solar Energy to Solar Power
They say a picture's worth a thousand words, so what price a video then? PRICELESS, we'd say. Take a look:
